With me, you’ll find a supportive space that recognizes life doesn’t always go as planned. Goals can shift—not as a reflection of your effort or worth, but often because of the realities life brings. Together, we’ll regularly revisit and adjust your goals to ensure they stay aligned with your needs and enhance your quality of life, even as circumstances change. My goal is to empower clients to reach their potential, cultivate lifelong learning, and move toward self-actualization while honoring their current realities—their strengths, resources, and barriers. I draw from a psychodynamic understanding that human behavior is often driven by unconscious motivators, and I integrate a constructivist approach to help clients explore the meaning they assign to their life experiences.
I am committed to creating a respectful, supportive space where clients can clarify their goals, create practical steps to reach them, and build the resilience and confidence needed to move toward the life they want. My practice is eclectic, using a range of techniques—such as dialogue, interpretation, cognitive reframing, mindfulness, awareness exercises, behavior modification, creative therapies, ecotherapy, and bibliotherapy—tailored to each client’s needs. I believe that embracing innate strengths is essential to achieving lasting outcomes.
Acting as both facilitator and advocate, I work collaboratively with clients and, when appropriate, their support networks to foster motivation and connection. My humanistic and constructivist approach emphasizes clients’ positive attributes and their capacity for happiness and health. When recommending techniques with specific considerations, I ensure informed discussion and may coordinate with other healthcare providers or suggest supportive group work. This may include, but is not limited to, consulting a physical health provider for somatic or medication management, with client consent, to ensure coordinated care that best supports your progress.
Sessions provide a safe, judgment-free space for personal discovery, realistic assessment of needs and desires, and meaningful exploration of change. I help clients design lives that reflect both present needs and future goals, offering practical tools to encourage growth, resilience, and lasting empowerment—all while fostering self-awareness and radical acceptance.
My Goal is to make therapy as accessible as possible - I'd be happy to support you!
